The seminar addresses the impact of inequality on housing, taking as a reference Housing. The New Class Divide. It argues that, in a rentier economy, class conflict shifts from labour to real estate. An analysis of urban challenges such as property concentration, rental impoverishment, subjectivity in new residential neighbourhoods, the role of cooperatives and the impact of digital platforms. Finally, it discusses how to restore housing as a right.
